Bulk Find and Replace

Apply several literal find-and-replace rules to one text.

✓ Your text stays in your browser.

How to use

Add the source text, enter one find => replace rule per line, choose matching options, and run the replacement.

How it works

Literal rules are parsed line by line and applied sequentially with optional case and whole-word matching. Replacement values are inserted safely rather than interpreted as regular-expression templates.

Understanding the result

The summary shows how many matches changed and how many rules affected the text.

Practical example

Update several product names, terminology choices, or recurring labels across a draft in one pass.

Limitations

Rules run from top to bottom, so an earlier replacement can affect a later rule. Regular expressions are intentionally not interpreted.

Common question

Can I replace a term with an empty value?

Yes. Leave the value after => empty to remove every matching occurrence.

What this tool checks and changes

  • Accepts several literal find-and-replace rules at once.
  • Supports case-sensitive and whole-word matching.
  • Reports replacements, applied rules, and invalid rule lines.

Practical uses

  • Updating terminology throughout a draft.
  • Replacing recurring labels in exported text.
  • Applying a reviewed naming change consistently.

Bulk Find and Replace

A reliable three-step workflow

The processing remains in this browser; the supplied text is not sent to an external text-processing service.

  1. 1

    Start with the original

Paste the complete text and preserve the parts whose structure matters.

  2. 2

    Choose only relevant options

Each option changes a specific rule. Leave unrelated settings off.

  3. 3

    Review before using the result

Read the output in context, then copy it only after confirming the intended meaning and formatting.
